Give me the base game like all the FH has done till now. I don’t want any compromise with that.
On top of it, do whatever story telling narrative needs to be done
Fast and Furious, Tokyo drift, Initial D or whatever, I will except it.
Add on a third person mode in game as the Fable’s main character which is roamable on roads and open spaces. It would be nice marketing for upcoming Fable game
It is indeed a minor thing because the gameplay truly is fantastic, but if they were to change it in future games I’d be in favour of it. At times it’s like I’m in a F&F movie in how they interact, kinda.
It’s a minor thing, I certainly wouldn’t rate it any lower because of this but I’d welcome a change.
I mean I get both sides, one side says it has always been cringe, it’s not FH without shit radio hosts or commentary, and the other side just wants that as a player to be treated like a grown up. The over the top acting and cringe can definitely be lowered and still be very entertaining.
I find the radio hosts amusing. They fit the game well but the stories are cringe . I don’t mind it much since it doesn’t affect my enjoyment of the game. But if there is any room to improve this masterpiece it’s the dialog and writing of the short stories. Everything else is really the best it can be. It really is the game of the year for me.
I don’t know… Would it still be Horizon without the silliness and over the top of it all? Some of the Stories are decent this time around too. I don’t think I want FH to turn into a Sad Car Game
improve is an understatement lol, it has to be exponentially stronger, writing is at the core of an RPG imo, racing games can at the end of the day get away with it. I’m just glad Fable has its own writing team that is more experienced in narrative games and doesn’t share from the same pool as Forza’s lol
lol fr, someone on that reddit said it along the lines of playing FH feels like it’s your birthday and everyone around you is just trying to pamper and hype you up more regularly than usual.
Yep, haha. Read that too, that’s a good way to describe it actually too. And apparently everything in Mexico according to the game is family, even rivalry. I mean, I get it. It’s so cheery, so happy, just slightly too much. It’s something I could personally do without. So if they do for FH6, great, if not, bummer but won’t ruin my enjoyment at the end of the day.
For Fable I expect a world of difference, I expect funny ass humor and good writing. The trailer sure set the tone, loved that.
Earlier this year I played Need for Speed Rivals. They tried to be serious with the most cringe, lame and stupid story and premise I have ever seen in a racing game. I’d take FH cheeriness over that shit any day.
Yeah that NFS game that takes place in the night was very cringey, I don’t want that either. Thinking of a game that has good writing and a good story too, in a racer. Don’t think there are many.
