Hot damn it’s already at 6.5m players didn’t it just hit 6m not so long ago. Seems like about 13hrs ago, 500k new players in just 13 hours.

The developers are literally from the UK why do they do that
Its funny and true. But there are more pressing matters in the Festival Playlist like the Forzathon shop. I want my Jaguar XJ 220.
I thought the UK is still on uncivilized units for speed and distance?
I had the same problem in FH4. So here are some tips from a complete drift noob who 3-stared all drift zones in FH4 in 2 days:
- use manual shifting
- shift to a low gear like 3th
- disable traction and stability control
- start with one of the formula drift cars
- turn and accellerate into a corner => car oversteers and starts to drift
- counter steer, play with the gas
- use rewind
- switch from simulation steering to normal steering might help a bit
After some practice you can drift with every car. For this specific challenge it should be enough to just drive over a big open field and press A.

I never used to enjoy the drifting but after starting to do it more in FH4 I love it. Banked a 2 million skill score in the Hoonigan Mustang just flogging it around the map

Change the tune, I downloaded one called “Easy playlist” or similar, there were several choices.
The Collector: immediately begins hoarding wheel spins in their quest to collect every car.

I was wondering why I got my ass kicked in one of these events, go in and look and it has its own difficulty lol. Guess I have done practicing to do… either that or I need to change cars because the whole pack is pulls away from the start lol

Get a good tune for your car as well, important when racing on the higher levels.

Yeah did it last night, just go highspeed into a curve, brake gently to loose traction and drift!
FH5 still suffers a little bit if your car isn’t maxed out in events with skilled drivers or higher. I did some events with A-722 level cars and handily lost to 3 drivatars using A-800 cars. Went into Tune Car, picked a nice A-800 build with AWD and then the race was mostly back and forth between the group of 4 at A-800.
At lower drivatar difficulty the few of the pack having higher tuned cars doesn’t really matter since they drop a lot of time in the corners.
It’s by far not as bad as FH4, where I had to always be at max tune for the class regardless of drivatar difficulty.
