Final Fantasy XIV coming to Xbox Series in Spring 2024

14 was always coming to xbox wasnt it? Phil even said himself back in 2019

Brian is a cool dude. Really passionate about FFXIV and a very positive content creator overall. Easily moved to tears obviously, but that’s a huge part of his charm. And like you said, this is something he has been hoping would happen for a long time.

Yeah, his reaction is making me feel FOMO for this game, so I will have to try it out when it does launch on Xbox.

I have to admit that is my reaction when the Lakers won championships in the past. I find it interesting that it’s ok for men to go crazy/emotional and even cry for their sports team but it’s considered “unmanly” for anything else…

My reaction was again based on text messages. I was waiting for the train to arrive and then she wrote, “Phil Spencer?” I was walking around, but froze still when she wrote that. I tried to post something here with “PHIL FUCKING DID IT!!!” but it wouldn’t allow me. Good times.

There’s actually an episode of welcome to wrexham that focuses on that aspect of sport letting men show emotions. Quite interesting.

Stumbled upon this:

Definitely has the tone of defeat. I don’t see what’s wrong for more platform equal more engagement.

Seriously? When was this?

But they have many GAAS coming in a few years. I heard their fanbase really loves GAAS

Sony fans wouldnt feel like needing to flip out like this if they didnt spend the last couple of decades fighting some lame imaginary console war.

Maybe if they stopped worshiping Sony they might be able to enjoy gaming again for all the great games coming soon

It took me a while to understand what even had him so exasperated and concerned till he said “it seems like any chance of Sony acquiring Square is gone.” Is that what has him so worked up?

As I always said it wasn’t going to happen, even before this event.

The way some fanboys act you’d think PlayStation literally owned these third party publishers, the entitlement is insane

He was an Xbox fanboy before jumping ship. I tried to look for his old videos but he deleted all of them.

That’s his first video now, posted 4 years ago.

He’s a clown. Like he’s a paid actor. He can talk about anything and be pissed about it. We shouldn’t care much about what he has to say.

Square isn’t going anywhere. They just really like money so they feel like they are in a good position right now, being courted by Sony and now MS.

Decided to delete my post for the link to the reaction vid, I don’t know where to start to search on if the above post about him hosting a Nazi is true. But I don’t want to start any issues in the threads.

Yep. If Sega announces a 4K remake of Panzer Dragoon Saga, or Yu Suzuki partners up with a publisher to finally finish the Shenmue saga, I’d react the same.

I reacted similar when Persona got announced for xbox.

What would be the ultimate thing is if MS paid for and funded a Xenogears Remake coming to Xbox

TheChaosLounge is a friend of Brian (aka @Ginger Prime Gaming) and goes into a deeper dive into Ginger Prime Gaming and how FF14 is so important to him. It also goes into the diatribes against him, and his reaction to them:

I pray for your soul, have a blessed day.

Been watching a few clips of it, was curious how combat looks. But that looked a bit slow, even a little boring?

I will definitely give the trial a shot though, but FF7R or even more similar to 15 would have been great.

Combat is defintitely sower paced, its hard for them to do super fast things with how traditional mmo design generally goes.

Heres a video of current high end content, where theres a lot more going on

I can see them giving this a big push when it finally comes

Kind of like what they did with Persona 5, I imagine they’ll really want to hammer home the idea of FF being on Xbox
