I’m really stoked that it’s getting a top 4. Wasn’t expecting it but man I’m glad that games getting love. I’ll need to remember to tune in… Also it’s weird there isn’t a given time for it.
Might have to buy onr from ebay.
yeah… if you got a spare dm for xbox or steam you’re willing to give away uh dm please lol.
I have removed two buttons and SF6 (classic ) feels imo much better now . I just have a better awareness of the buttons position. DI and Parries are now consistent.

Project L could be the next big thing. I see no reason why it wouldn’t get a console release, fingers crossed!
For years I’ve been clamouring for Capcom to work with Arc System Works to make a 2D cell-shaded Street Fighter Alpha 4 game but after seeing this I’m more than ok with both making a new DarkStalkers game.
I have to give credit to Riot for making this game look this good, I only mention Arc because that’s their wheelhouse but this looks nearly as good as Arc’s best.
I wonder if this will hit PC Gamepass along with all of Riot’s other titles?
Project L will be huge IMO. League of Legends license along with the popularity of shows like Arcane and this game looking like it will be a legitimately good fighter at that.
I’m happy to see a new AAA competitor in the fighting game space. When was the last time that happened? (I’m discounting Strive & FighterZ because they are part of long running franchises that finally blew up in the conpetitive space).
His reaction towards KI in Evo is pretty funny. He’s right though, after Sony lost to Microsoft in ABK battle, KI being there is like “So we’re cool? Cool” move.
I really doubt that’s how it went down… I can almost bet you Sony just let’s Rick run it. And he’s a big fan… He created combobreaker for crying out loud
I know. I know he knows. He’s obviously holding his actual thoughts and feelings about it. The punchline is he made a bet that tends to have a chance of less than 5% yet here it is.
Sony only owns 50% of it
I didn’t play a lot of MK11 but thought his powers were cool. I didn’t expect him to come back though lol.
I think Phil Spencer should ask Arc System to make a new Killer Instinct.
keep in mind due to the partnership with riot, if you’re subscribed to GPU you probably won’t have to earn or pay for champions in Project L.
What do you think of having Arc making a brawl fighter for MS with all of the Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision properties? By making all of the characters anime style it could ground them all in a visually consistent universe.
Having played more through SF6, and with the news of one of the 4 new characters being rolled out, I’m still not a fan of how the game is being monetized. It came with a good number of characters and backgrounds, but it’s still odd how not everyone has the same access to characters.
I’m ok with buying new backgrounds, outfits, colours for outfits, new music, entrance poses, win poses, and taunts because none of that changes the core game and allows players to customize their experience to their heart’s content. To me that seems more sensical than putting characters behind a paywall.
Getting into fighting game mood soon. So which arcade stick is the best for Xbox?
Got done playing some matches in the Tekken 8 CBT this weekend. Had a lot of issues connecting to fights but …yep. ITs going to be the best fighting game this year bar none.
These days fight sticks are only necessary if you really like to use them. I have been destroyed in SF6 by people playing on modern controls which are perfect for any gamepad. Tekken has always played nicely on gamepad. And Mortal Kombat is made for gamepads.
As far as I know there are only two Xbox licensed arcade sticks the hori alpha and the 8bitdo.
They are very different. I like my hori alpha but the 8bitdo is very nice if you want a compact stick
