Developers Tonguç Bodur and Eastasiasoft Limited have announced that their fantasy first-person adventure, ‘GENIE Reprise’, will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on the 14th of February. Players will take the role of Lula and explore a vibrant fantasy world as she journeys to discover the meaning of the Genie and fulfill her destiny. The game will retail at US$6.99 / €6.99.

Immerse yourself in mystical towns and the surrounding countryside as you collect crystal shards to reveal the next part of the poem that adds to the Genie’s lore, scattered across 15 chapters that span multiple eras and transform the environment around you. Meet intriguing and enigmatic characters and discover how their stories are intertwined as you seek a final truth.

I’ve enjoyed many smaller games on Xbox since they’ve hit Game Pass or have been promoted by players / gaming media / Xbox themselves - and this gives me similar vibes to many of them so for that price I’ll definitely give it a try…
