Yup same thing, I respected him. But he was so cheap once he started attacking Microsoft’s store. It was translucent to an extreme degree. Everybody knew he was coming with his own store once he started attacking Microsoft. Except for ERA and Neogaf at the time of course, not all of them, but there was this subset of PS fanboys and MS haters (and I’m no fan of them myself but it shouldn’t cloud your judgement), that loved it.
The man like you said dropped like a brick in my idea of integrity. BUT! I also do enjoy how he picked a fight with Apple as they did similar in my view. I really hope both go on their arses and have anti trust suits dropped on em.

Azure: Is doing more than fine. It is a growth market and they are doing really well actually.

Surface: Different markets. Surface is more in the same market as iPad Pro and MacBook Pros. Mostly for artists. On top of that they also sell really well in the professional market and it is more a “design studio” to show other producers what is possible. That said, they sell really well. And no… not like a 300 dollar iPad. But that is a very different market all together.

Xbox: Okay, now I think you’re being a fanboy. It has it’s own place in gaming, and with gamepass it really is doing more than fine.
Still it is a big mistake to make though. It has opened up a can of worms for Apple in Europe as well. More and more started joining in and rightfully so.
Tim Sweeney is an arse… but Apple is no better. They both need to be sued big time. For goodness sake man, Apple with their “You can make a webapp” excuse. If that is allowed then MS should sue the US government for getting their fine money back! As on IOS devices you cannot change browser (no third party browsers have to use the Safari Rendering engine). So it’s no difference from the whole Internet Explorer crapfest (which rightfully was taken to court). I would love to like Apple again, I really do, but it needs to open up.
This fashionista crap, with fanboys making sure people stay in line? And people being scared to complain about their overpriced product, as it might make them look like fools (spending so much, it is an old scam technique, a scammed person will never admit to it)? This has to end first before I get back into Apple’s eco system.

Look if Nintendo wants the 1st party XGS catalog, Microsoft will play ball. MS is not desperate to get that cut-down version of Game Pass on Switch, it’s a bonus. That’s the beauty of the situation now where Xbox is making $17 billion/year in revenue w/o these deals.

Not that funny. I can see them getting away with that " did Apple stop you to release it on Safari!?" Tone setting. Even though you have no other option BUT Safari. Apple doesn’t allow any other rendering engine on IOS. MS was taken to court over this, and for good reason.
Mozzila should speak up over this, like they did over IE.
