Elden Ring |OT| Rise Tarnished & Become The Elden Lord (of the dance!)

how tf yall at lategame 30 hours in?? :sob:

Finally entered The capital Leyndell after clearing most of the first three areas and this place is ridiculously big. I think there games that are smaller then this city.

No kidding, lol. Im at something like 50 hours and outside of some easier bosses in catacombs and out in the open world and such I have still only beaten Margit and Godrick. I got desperate and started farming runes. Pumped my level way up and still suck.

You’re 50 hours in and only have beaten the two bosses in Stormviel? My god lol, the grinding is real. It’s probably going to take you 100 hrs to beat Morgot in Lyndell

Just wait until you reach the sewer area. It’s a literal maze

The grind isn’t that prevalent in this game. Just discovering and finding stuff takes a lot of time.

Outside of that one area where I’ve grinded for about 30 mins tops I haven’t done any in this game.

Theres so much to discover. I only went back to the first Western Limgrave area of the game and found 4 new mini dungeons and bosses that I didn’t even know were there. Its crazy how much content there is.

I’m 70 hours in, I just discovered yet another swamp area. Who hurt you Miyazaki. Why are you like this.

I’ve beat more than two bosses. Godrick was the only golden path boss I had finished.

I wiped out Rennala tonight.

Man that was kinda weird…

After fighting Godrick several times and finally defeating him I wandered around for a bit and helped Blaidd defeat Darriwil. That was oddly the easiest fight i’ve ever had in a Souls game. I summoned Blaidd but I didn’t even need him. Somehow I backstabbed him twice which knocked his health down 3/4ths. In all I maybe hit him half a dozen times before he fell, Blaidd getting a few hits in as well.

I didn’t think I would be so overleveled.

The Bloodhound guy in general isn’t that hard. All it takes is one or two parries and a guard counter and he’s dead. That’s how I killed him early on in the game when I was in my lvl 20s maybe. I hadn’t even summoned Blaidd cuz I didn’t even know I could lol. Got scared I wouldn’t get a reward or the questline got rekt lol, but it was fine.

Pretty much everything in the southern area of Elden Ring is for lower leveled players. It’s kind of like getting your feet wet before the real game begins in the caelid wilds and Lurnia.

Yeah already dropped in and got a site of grace. I’m trying to figure out how many levels this damn city has as I keep going further down and further up, Its crazy

so there’s another area just as deep and interconnected as Stormveil? I’m glad to hear that.

Yeah there’s a multi level subterranean area underneath Leyndell. What’s even crazier is there’s access to it’s own catacombs area within this area

I think I’m 24ish hours in and just hit level 50. I’ve beaten two of the ā€œring fragmentā€ bosses. Is that about where I should be? It’s hard to say, generally I can beat a Souls game in 25-35 hours.

I wouldn’t worry about what level you should be or when you hit an area. If you feel the enemies are too tough in an area, go elsewhere and comeback later when you’ve leveled up both your character and weapon or gotten other stuff that makes things easier.

How it feels to defeat a boss damageless :triumph: :triumph: :triumph:

few minutes later…

:joy:

Man, I absolutely loved Castle Morne. Played through it multiple times and it just gave me awesome Boletaria vibes.

Finished up pretty much everything except Deathbird in Weeping Peninsula and I think I’m ready to tackle Stormveil Castle. I have 24 hours played and am currently level 37. I’ve been doing a lot of co-op just for the hell of it. Success rate in Castle Morne was far better than Stormveil, though. Not nearly as many gank squads and booby traps.
