Do you think Paddles should become the new standard?

Yes please, having both series 1 and 2 controller, i’d rather have paddles over dualsense thing.

I mis-remembered. It’s Scuf (now owned by Corsair) who have a ton of patents for back buttons/paddles on controllers that Xbox has to license with. That drove up the cost of the elite 1 and 2 and is the reason we won’t see them on future Xbox base controllers most likely.

They can’t, because Razer owns the patents for them. Xbox has to license it just to put them on the Elite controllers (which ups the cost quite a bit).

Scuff = Corsair basically got the patent to many things that they clearly never invented but thats american patents for you. Until they lose it or they get sued, we wont be seeing paddles being standard… even if they should be.
