Everything about the massive hyperbole from the OP is misleading, bordering on delusional astroturfing looking at his history. Like, literally delusional with some comments so out of touch with reality.
I’d understand if it was some cultural zeitgeist like Elden Ring, BG3 and GTA5 were at launch and excuse the extreme hyperbole regarding the fandom, but… this is Destiny 2. A game that has massively declined in playerbase and relevancy, with players voting with their wallets leading to low pre-order sales and missed targets for Bungie, and even Sony’s new CEO saying Bungie has got to get it together. Yet from the OPs constant shilling you would think it’s literally the best game ever and literally the most successful GaaS when it’s anything but…and you’ll even be questioned when you point this out.
So, so weird, and cringy. If not astroturfing then the OP really needs to play more games. Even some of the best Destiny streamers have moved on.

The destiny hate is real here… This new update is fantastic and I’m blown away by the final shape reveals…
A new subclass ! A new enemy race ! Exotic class items !
Holy crap I mean how can you not be hyped for this.
The only question that remains, is will Phil Spencer return to this game ? I’ll be keeping an eye out on the release of the final shape.

These people are saying nothing of the new update that just launched why are you being disingenuous?
They are complaining about the final shape dlc features that were revealed.
You live in your own weird bubble and keep talking down to people who don’t agree with you like you have some majority consensus opinion when in reality the opposite is true as I pointed out in my previous post which you conveniently ignored.
Again, (and I don’t usually say this as everyone is entitled to like what they like) you really need to play more (read: different) games instead of shilling a game and freaking out when nobody cares. The brain rot from dedicating your life to a singular game and nothing else while ignoring the factual decline the game has been going through is getting quite sad, and there was a reason all your posts were merged into one topic. It’s like you either live in an alternate reality or you’re astroturfing.
I’ve likely played more games than you, and have a higher gamerscore/number of platinum trophies.
If you don’t like destiny you don’t need to come into this topic and be toxic. This is the only destiny topic.

I have 727k gamerscore with a 2.5 TA ratio, lmao. Imagine trying to flex your gamerscore and trophy count as a rebuttal and having it backfire…
None of my destiny topics were removed, they were combined into a destiny OT where these posts now remain.

Man I used to watch Cross’ videos religiously when I was super into Destiny. Great streamer.
I feel so thoroughly underwhelmed after playing it. At least the expansion looks fun.
How is everyone enjoying this latest patch ?
For me I got all the god rolls of the current weapons, all the weapons quests done and whisper mission done on normal in like 3-4 hours and havnt touched it since.
I’ll be back week to week for the new guns but not much else.
I was also surprised how many “shiny” drops I got with so little play.
For being free it’s fine, I had a few hours of playing the game again and will come back for the expansion.
