The Internet always magnifies things. When Cyberpunk 2077 came out and had some bugs, it was considered to be absolutely broken and a complete piece of shit on the Internet when it really wasn’t at all.
Just like NieR Automata is considered one of the best games ever on the Internet when it’s just very good and its story is full of deus ex machinas and inconsistencies and not some kind of Cervantes-level literature at all.
What happened to Cyberpunk 2077 happened to Crackdown 3 and Days Gone at launch, too.
