Developer GameNobility and publisher eastasiasoft will launch their upcoming coffee-heavy (with a spot of romance) visual novel title ‘Sunny Café’ on the 27th of March for PlayStation, Xbox consoles, and the Nintendo Switch (US/EU/Asia). It is currently available on PC via Steam. Players will watch a deep relationship play out between Taiwanese college students and a local coffee cafe, learning about local customs and coffee brewing techniques—not to mention, guide a budding romance and going for multiple endings. The title will retail for US$14.99 / €14.99.

On a summer afternoon, the thunder showers fall mercilessly and the bells in the café ring. A boy regains his senses, suddenly noticing a soaked girl standing at the door. Sunny Café is a tale of accidental encounters, acquaintances and eventual parting, a love text adventure game that uses Taiwanese coffee knowledge as a catalyst for this cycle of interactions and an analogy for life itself.
Join a cast of Taiwanese college students and enjoy a visual novel steeped in local culture, customs and ideals. Learn how to make the perfect cup of coffee by selecting beans, grinding, choosing a filter and brewing skillfully. Select objects in the café to pick up vital bits of additional knowledge. Explore multiple endings affected by your conversations with people in a comfy setting, and perhaps guide a budding romance to full bloom!

The Game Nobility, an independent game R&D team in Taiwan, has created a new text adventure game, “Sunny Café”, which aims to be released this summer. The game revolves around cafe-centric protagonists. In addition to the young love story, the R&D team also hopes to promote the coffee culture through knowledge in the game.
