I actually find it interesting that Paramount even wants COD when they could just do G.I. Joe with Hasbro. But hey, neat. I feel like a COD movie is hard to mess up (though an OG modern warfare story beat would be dope) and unlike say Fallout, COD can actually really capitalize on the movie if it is a success due to the yearly releases.

Sam Hargrave, the guy who directed the Extraction movies, would be an okay realistic candidate. Russo bros could also be good if they can get back in form.
