Bobbie Draper is in the game? Pretty cool!
Unfortunately I had to stop reading about the campaign at the mention of “fear gas” and “nightmare worlds.” Not what I’m looking for from COD, not even close.
I get your angle, but if you approach the game from an action packed B-movie perspective, it really is a wild ride. Jesse and I had a lot of fun.
But it’s the overall package here. Absolutely massive amounts of content. The value prop is hard to ignore!

I deleted the campaign almost instantly. What a mess that was, could not even save after playing the first mission for awhile. Had to start over from the beginning, including watching an unskippable cutscene of 5 mins again.

Yeah that BF6 campaign wasn’t that bad after all…
COD MP is the meat and potatoes and BO7 MP is really great. It’s just that the solo doesn’t leave a good impression. I had to finish that last mission solo and I didn’t enjoyed it at all! It was a chore finding your way in this level and having to do hacking puzzles while being shot at by infinite waves of enemies
While I haven’t started yet, from general consensus, it would seem that if you get at least last year’s campaign quality, this would have been really up there as the best BO. Also seems like they heavily focused on gameplay side, which again feels like they almost got a grand slam.

Not really enjoying the MP either. I feel they nerfed controller aim assist too much and the TTK is too fast for my liking.
