Brad Sams: Did MS show off Halo Infinite gameplay in their holiday commercial?

It was definitely a video made for clicks, as the main topic absolutely had no substance.

The only interesting thing that Brad mentioned was he thinks the game might come out late 2021. Now is this what his contact within 343i said is most likely, or is he making an educated guess based on what he has heard about the state of the game at the moment.

I doubt he knows he’s been wrong way too many times regarding halo infinite

I’m less and less confident. Evidence all over the place. I do believe when they initially delayed it, spring was the target. More evidence with the actor saying it was coming in the spring. With the new leads they’ve brought it and Spencer being uncommitted in terms of splitting up campaign and multiplayer, I think there’s a chance campaign comes out later than initially intended. They just hired a senior lighting artist from ND. The issue with the GDK makes me hope it’s pushed back so that launch has a a fully optimized campaign. My guess is late 2021…but it’s just a guess at this point.
