Battlefield 6 on track to do "the best Battlefield has ever done" (Eurogamer)

As such, Battlefield 6 is currently pointing at the stands bat in hand, lining up an absolutely scorcher of a launch in October. Early indications of just how successful Battlefield 6 will be are hard to parse, but video game analytics company Alinea Analytics stated that the game had 605k Steam pre-orders as of 12th August, based on its research.

With more than 400 000 concurent players on Steam and probably even more on consoles, Battlefield 6 is doing numbers in the BETA, ahead of its launch in october. It’s looking good for Battlefield fans.

It’s always great to see franchise coming back to form. So much so, people repeating the old phrase about CoD is just about the nostalgia trip that internet can go.

That’s going to depend on if people think there’s enough content a month after launch unfortunately.

Gamers have gotten used to Fortnites constant updates and start expecting it from every MP game.

I’m not sure. A lot of people are still playing Battlefield games that don’t get content or updates anymore.

And people seemed to play a lot of the BETA, which is just a taste of what the full game will be at launch. I think it will be fine.
