YOOOOOOOOOO!

good for those that enjoyed it i guess.
Oh, wow, some of those changes makes me genuinely interested in a second playtrough! I adored Avowed. Brilliant game
Once the update hits, I will finish play through 3 and start 4 as short queen or king.
Man, I need to finish games. I’m stuck on a random side quest early in the game because I’m too indecisive
. I keep saving and reloading to see the outcome of each decision and then changing my mind and doing the thing over again round and round in a loop. Maybe we shouldn’t be allowed to save in games? In theory new game plus should be my excuse to stop doing that, but in reality I cannot change. I hardly ever finish the story for open world (open choice) RPGs because I’m too indecisive and get overwhelmed with alternate options. Even when there’s not really different endings, I’ll reload to hear different responses to dialogue choices.
Anyway, it’s great that the game is getting and update, and I think the PS5 release will perform really well. If I remember correctly, the game was in the top charts for sales on release even back only on Xbox & PC. It also reviewed well. It’ll scratch a lot of RPG itches.
Loved the game but some of this should have been in the game at or near release.
Backlogging really is the way to play it seems.
This!! I rarely replay games but I loved Avowed. Fun fact: It was the first Obsidian game that I have ever completed. Fun fact 2: While I played The Outer Worlds 2 at launch, the balancing felt off to me (normal was too easy and hard was too bullet spongy) but will get back to it in the summer.
So many games/updates and not enough time.
Hahaha!!! Who am I kidding??? I should probably give Arc Raiders a long ass break but man, im addicted to the damn game!! lmao
If only the hundreds/thousands of games in your backlog would get massive updates, you would be in heaven and easily the favorite to win the Backlog Challenge 2026!! ![]()
Backlogging is great. Mostly content complete, fully patched games. For me to play something at launch it has to be reaaaally special.
I don’t disagree especially nowadays. Back before updates/patches, whatever the game was, it was. Now though, months/years later, it could be a completely different game.
I don’t play every game day one but the main reason why I usually do is because the older the game gets, the more I lose interest in playing it. It’s 5+ years and I still haven’t played Cyberpunk 2077 since I waited for the current generation upgrade in 2022 but they kept adding content and whatnot. It’s like, I do want games especially games that aren’t live service to be done and wrapped up within a few months to at most a year if expansions get released because after a while, it’s just too much content and not enough time.
