Sigh. Gotta be the result of every studio at Xbox wanting to release in Fall on top of all the internal delays for the games. Meh.
I think Avowed is delayed because S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is pushed back to November, which is the only release window between COD and Indy. Also, there are tentpoles like Dragon Age and Assassin’s Creed around that time.
YES!!! Just need Towerborne to follow suit and I will be very pleased because when you already have 9 games dated for the last months of 2024 along with 3 upcoming expansions and at least 2 games waiting on a release date, it’s more than enough games to play.
Best of all, my first game of 2025 has been dated in Avowed and I finally have a first quarter release from Microsoft. Let’s go!!
Plenty to play but this was my most anticipated. Disappointed!
Understand why they’ve done it but I am still disappointed. Pretty barren year from Xbox first party in terms of things I have any interest in.
In the disappointed crowd too, think a lot of knew Indy or Avowed was going to get pushed.
If the reporting is true and its pure polish, man that would be exciting to get that bit of extra runway as a dev.
Bummer but the fall is packed. Looks like Kingdom Come deliverence 2 will be my holiday RPG
