Two things for me are certain. First, im playing in canon mode for the story and second, im playing 100% with Naoe.
You will want Yasuke for boss fights and ranged combat.
Yeah, Yasuke definitely seems overpowered and using the bow is good but it seems like he’s extremely limited in what he can do parkour and stealth wise which are two major aspects of Assassin’s Creed. Also, I watched JorRaptor’s preview and he played as Yasuke while infiltrating a Temple and there was a collectible or something on the top of a high building that he literally can’t get to.
Not only does the game not tell you this before starting the mission or tell you how to get that collectible to complete the Temple, he literally had to leave the restricted area, switch to Naoe and was then able to grapple up to the top of the building to get the collectible and complete the Temple.
This is something that I don’t want to be forced to do. If you’re playing as either character, you 100% should be able to complete the area/mission that you’re in/doing without having to figure out what needs to be done to accomplish the completion of the area/mission nor without having to switch characters to do so.
Or, have cool things that benefit each one over the other.
