Developer FROMSOFTWARE and publisher Bandai Namco have announced that the latest entry in the Armored Core series, ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, has been dated for the 25th of August. In an interview available on Xbox Wire, Producer Yasunori Ogura and Director Masaru Yamamura talk about their vision for the game and how they want players to tackle challenges with their own creativity and ingenuity. They also dive into some aspects of the gameplay and customization players can expect from the company’s latest entry in the beloved mech action series.

Movement looks really fluid from what they show off in the gameplay trailer. Hope it will feel as good and fun to control as it looks.

I love how everyone is an armored core fan now despite series being incredibly niche. Same people who will shit on the game when it comes out for not being a souls like.

For me I found AC4 and AC For Answer for 360 for $20 each at a pawn shop last year, before the AC6 announcement… Those games can’t be found for $20 now lol

Played through AC4 and had fun. Should try to get For Answer in before AC6.

I know nothing about the franchise but I’m trying to get some infos before the new one comes.

So I watched the video of this guy who is a fanatic of From Software and he describes the series really well.

I’m also watching that one, which is more about the story and personal journey of getting into the series.

I really want to see more now, because this series is pretty crazy and the new trailer got me excited.
