Are we going to get leaks this entire week? Because if this keeps up it seems like we will know everything Xbox is showing off before Sunday.
I still think we’re going to be seeing a bevy of Square Enix titles that skipped Xbox released on it over the next 18 months. I also have little doubt that we end up seeing FF7 before too long… could be wrong but where I still see hopium from fanboys, Square’s financial situation and new CEO imply that the Sony-allegiance is dead, and I’d wager a contractual break would still be cheaper and more beneficial to SE for the revenue they could generate from user bases that actually support those games - PC, Xbox, and Switch 2.
Cant recommend Octopath 2 enough. Playing it is like taking a trip back down memory lane to more old school traditional JRPGs but with a modern twist.
This game felt like it had passion absolutely poured into it, and felt high budget as well. Not to mention the soundtrack… stunning music.
Couldn’t agree more in relation to the first; haven’t played the second because I knew it would only be a matter of time before it was released on Xbox, and my patience is being rewarded lol.
Honestly, I’ve found some of the best games from SE lately to be a lot of their smaller/2.5D projects… far more interesting and risky than any of their big budget titles lately.
I have also beat the first and despite me thinking that game was also excellent, Octopath 2 is IMO on a different level it is that good. Real shame that when it released the calendar was packed… it feels like the game went under the radar but its so good

I’d love them to trademark “Play Everywhere” 
MS really will need to push play anywhere if they are gonna go through with alot of there plans IMHO… Sooo I have a sneaking suspicion that all games in the June 9th showcase will be
Pretty much anything that hits Game Pass is Play Anywhere. I’m sure there are exceptions, but it’s almost a given. Likely part of the contracts.
yeah there are a few exemptions… like paradox interactive getting a pass for some reason. but thankfully gamepass is prettymuch forcing alot of games to be playanywhere which imho is how it should be… but i think the play anywhere talk might be a tad off topic
