Dude is gassing it up, surely must’ve seen something about the platform/experience.

I found out via Phil Spencer reposted.

Yeah, I saw it too. He’s AMD’s SVP, so definitely in the know but very rare for people in his position to hype stuff up like this.

Ive been going back and forth whether xbox would release hardware in 2026 or 2027 but in todays age of less time between announcements and release i feel like there is no way they make videos like this one and the one with Sarah and dont release anything till 2027. Theres gotta be something for 2026 (and on there 25th anniversary and the year they are releasing Gears/Fable/Forza/Halo tease by Phil). Whether its their own official hardware or something by a partner, we will see

So it seems like even custom built PCs will gain from this initiative, which is exactly what I wanted. From my understanding it seems like it could be a continuous relationship, meaning you could jump in at any time if you are on PC or get whatever console Xbox or 3rd parties make if you want something pre-built.

Could be the start or something great if gamers adopt that model.

Just give me windows for gaming which feels like Xbox.

reads like lot of silicon area will be reserved for NPU

I would like some custom eGPUs for Xbox Ally and potentially the new console/s.

Definitely necessary considering MS’ push for AI and has functionality I think in terms of upscaling as well; maybe even frame generation.

As long as it’s put to good use I’m fine with an NPU, I think it can have a lot of gaming uses in the end.

Oh so like Windows in Gaming mode!
