I think it’d help to make things work if there are sections where you can set up defenses like they do in the movies too. That could be used to build tension as the defenses gradually are overrun and you have to gun down the rest. Or to have escape scenes too.

I think the game have that at the end of the video. You have to defend an area while waiting for an escape. There is not many ennemies because they probably play on easy.

I loved both movies for what they were, so I don’t mind either way.

And ridley Scott was the same guy who went on to make that abhorrent movie Alien Covenant so

He fucked up Prometheus and Covenant so much now Disney - who owns Fox and therefore Alien - doesn’t want to greenlight Alien: Awakening. That new show they are making for Disney+ is all we’ll be getting

Thank you Ridley for trying to tell an overly complicated origin story for the xenomorphs that will never be finished :v

I’m not sure but I think that only the engineer class can set up a turret as one of his abilities. I didn’t see other defenses you can set up.

This looks good to me, but I’d like to demo it before committing. Outriders looked good in videos too. Once I got it in my hands… nope.

This is why demos are mostly dead. Data seems to show that they actually decrease game sales.

Alien Isolation was like the first Alien movie which was largely survival horror, and this game here seems to tackle the tone and genre of the sequel “Aliens” ie straight up Co-Op Action lol.

Yeah this actually looks like it could be fun. Shall wait and see.
