Holy crap, I haven’t posted anything I’ve finished since January!! Here we go!

I really liked everything about this DLC with two exceptions:

  1. The achievement for crafting each type of vortex grenade was a pain in the ass because it relied on random drops. I was reloading saves for about 2 hours after completing the story because I needed a handful of one specific drop still and the enemies that dropped them only spawn in one space (regularly, at least)
  2. Starfield as a whole was about giving the player choices on what they wanted their character to do and the DLC took that away at least in part. If you want to go through the DLC you have to agree to join a specific religion in the game, whether you want to or not.

Other than that I really enjoyed getting back into the game, and I look forward to potential future DLC.

I love Kingdoms of Amalur, but this DLC was pretty disappointing. Incredibly buggy (if you don’t do everything in the exact right order or if you step slightly too close to certain spots on the map too early then you’re almost guaranteed not to unlock the achievement for doing all of the quests), the story was only so-so, and there wasn’t any big fun additions to the gameplay. Definitely not one I’d recommend, and that’s saying something given that I got the full 100% on both the original version and this remaster.

I was really hyped for this game when they first announced it, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Really fun story, interesting characters, and fantastic gameplay mechanics make this one an easy recommendation. Definitely hoping they end up doing some story DLC for this game.

A fun puzzle game with a unique gameplay mechanic: you control both the character and her shadow, and each can interact with things in the world that will allow the other to continue progressing through each level. Collectibles were a pain so I ended up giving up on those, but the game itself was really fun.

I love the Sniper Elite series. I will play every single game they release, and I will love them. I’m not a fan of the new main character in this game, but this is essentially a huge DLC for Sniper Elite 5, and I loved Sniper Elite 5, so I’m okay with it. Shooting Nazis in the face will never, ever get old.

This game was absolutely amazing. The gameplay was fun, the combat was interesting (though a little repetitive by the end), the story was fantastic, and the music was, quite possibly, the best video game soundtrack ever. This is absolutely one I would recommend to anyone that enjoys platforming games with some lite puzzles thrown in.

I have really enjoyed almost everything from Don’t Nod that I’ve played, but this one ended up just being okay to me. The story was really good, but the gameplay was a bit of a letdown after some of their other games like Life is Strange. Not a bad game by any means, but definitely not one I’ll play through again from time to time like the LiS series.

Survival horror with a lot of puzzle solving is not really my style of game. Tbh I was mostly interested in this game because of the story connections to Control. Thank the achievement gods for in-game cheats!
