Feels pretty safe to say that Stalker 2 won at this point. Did anyone recently play through the first three? Iā€™m debating grabbing those ones before 2 comes out (not sure if itā€™s really needed story-wise) but being older games Iā€™m not sure how janky theyā€™re going to be or if I want to put up with that. Anyone have any insight?

I really enjoyed this game. Almost all of the characters were fun (even Charlotte wasnā€™t terrible after you got used to the way she talks), the story was engaging, the combat was great, and a single playthrough was about the perfect length. I didnā€™t love having to go through the game three time to get all of the achievements, but at least you can reuse a high-level character and a +300% XP item in the 2nd and third playthroughs, which made them go much, much faster. So glad these games are finally on Xbox.

GRIS is an absolutely gorgeous puzzle game with beautiful music that should absolutely be right up my alley but I have mixed feelings on it. The middle of the game is phenomenal, but the beginning of the game is so slow and tedious and the end gets so monotonous that it tainted what otherwise could have been one of my favorite games. Iā€™m still glad I went through it, and the 2nd playthrough for achievement cleanup was better simply because I knew what to expect in the first/last parts, but I wanted to love this one more than it would let me.

I absolutely love this game. I still remember when it first came out my roommates and I would sit for hours and play it. I played for about 3 hours and then needed to eat, so one roommate started a new save and played through the exact same 3 hours I just did, and when he stopped our third roommate did the same, and we all watched the entire time. Core memory. Itā€™s definitely a little rough around the edges given when the game originally released and the fact that it was really the first of its kind, but the Definitive Edition helps with a lot of those rough edges by updating with better textures and improved controls. I didnā€™t bother going for the 100% because of how long it can take, but some day I may return to clean up the rest of the achievements.

i heard lots of good stuff about this game but the art style always turned me off. I finally played it and the DLC and it is as awesome as people tell you. Its the best thing next to Obra Dinn or Chants of Sennaar. If you liked these detective games, this should be right up your alley :+1:

Another point & click adventure (one of my favorite type of game) with lots of humor. Here you solve some bizarre paranormal cases (the Darkside) as detective McQueen and his sidekick Officer Dooley. The game contains 9 very bite-size investigations. Perfect to solve one every evening. I laughed a lot throughout my playthrough. Not only is this written very funny you also get lots of pop culture references to other adventure games or TV shows like Twin Peaks.

The second best GTA game is still amazing all these years later. An improvement from GTA3 in every way possible and one of my favorite games of all time, this was a blast to play through again (now with achievements!). Really glad these were finally on a large enough sale to convince me to buy them because itā€™s just an absolute joy to play through again.
