Completion #115 :achievement:

Well, that was lucky. Finally got some very stubborn achievements to unlock, including the last from the base game so I’ll consider this done now finally. I thought I would never get it (it was as simple as eating some rotten flesh, done it 500 times or so but no achievement pop), thought it was forever bugged for me. There’ll be more updates of course, but yeah.

New Tales from the Borderlands is on sale this week, and despite it apparently being dreadful, I’d be willing to pick it up anyway just for the expected easy 1000 and to maintain my Borderlands series completion. But they couldn’t even get that right because the achievements are annoying and reportedly glitchy. So there’s no reason for me to ever touch the game and my Borderlands completion streak is over. :roll_eyes:

Completed Sonic Frontiers yesterday! Had a lot of fun with this one, definitely my favorite game of the year. There was some jank but the open-zone gameplay is extremely fun to run around and fight minibosses in. The linear Cyberspace stages were quite fun to replay as well, and the main bosses are just fantastic. The completion is pretty simple and easy too, it didn’t take very long.

I loved Nobody Saves the World, but this DLC was a big letdown. The story was mediocre at best and the new content was two new transformations and 12 challenge maps (that don’t require the new transformations to complete, and that can’t be used to level up the new transformations). Overall this was really disappointing.

I normally hate survival games like this but for some reason this one got me hooked from the first time I played it a couple of years ago. Now with the 1.0 launch, my fiancee and I have been going through it and I’ve been having a blast. Yes, I used the save-sharing method to complete it just because I know I’ll never get all of the achievements going through it with her, but I know this is one that we’ll keep playing for quite a while in the future.

I have no idea why this game is as fun as it is, but it did a good job of having me hooked for a while. I initially was turned off because I don’t generally care for Rogue-lites, but I’m glad I took the time to try this one out.

As always, I let it idle a lot. My real playtime was about 95 hours, plus about 8 hours on the DLC.

I had the game completed besides the Legend difficulty achievement for a few weeks, decided to speedrun on Legend to knock it out so I could have more storage space lol. Didn’t take long.

I gave my thoughts about it in the Yakuza thread already, but again the story was very memorable and the completion was fun without feeling too immensely grindy.

Cute game that I can see people really loving, but for me it was just more proof that I dislike games with Soulslike combat and the “find the plot yourself by finding random notes throughout the world and then try to interpret what they might mean to get a story” style of games (especially when it’s in another language). After disliking the combat in the demo I wasn’t even going to give this one a try until I learned that they added a no-fail mode for people like me :slight_smile:

That fox is fuckin’ cute, though.

I was waiting that the season pass was on sale for more than 20% off. Almost three years later it was on sale for 25%. :upside_down_face:

Already had all achievements for the base game, but wanted to make a complete new playthrough. Turns out playing with SAM and Nyoka is hilarious.

The Gorgon DLC is more serious and gives more lore. It was okay. The Eridanos DLC is amazing and I love it.
