Ah, two weeks in a row with 0 points… I have been playing on the dark side I’m afraid. Trophies is NOT as fun as achievements, it just isn’t.

Some features are nice, like how they divide game and DLC, overall level and the Platinums. But the feeling is not there in earning them.

Okay golf game that has a fairly unique setting and, oddly enough, a story, but the actual controls bugged me. There’s no good way of making minor adjustments to your previous shots so it ends up being a lot of frustrating guesswork. Not gonna bother with the last two achievements.

Completion #93 :achievement:

This was a cute, chill puzzle-platforming thing. I enjoyed it for the most part, but it took some time getting used to the very imprecise and wonky controls. Got stuck on one segment near the end for far too long, battling against stupid controls that randomly chose to not register. GAH! Still, I had fun for the most part.

Tried Bugsnax since it’s our game of the month… Unfortunately it was one of those less than well made first person games I get motion sick from. Not worth it so I quit that fast, no points for me this month :frowning:

Ah man, that’s too bad. Is it due to motion blur or something you might be able to change in the settings?

The actually had a FOV slider, but that didn’t help in this case. I lowered the sensitivity too, and tried with bloom on/off since those are the only settings but nothing really helped. It’s just one of those games.

Don’t know what it is, but 9/10 times it’s an indie game that sets it off. And the big 1/10 games usually have enough settings where I can adjust more things and with the help of ginger, medicine and stuff be able to play.

Sorry to hear that, I don’t know what I’d do if I went through motion sickness from playing games. I’d be so upset if I got sick just from trying to play a game.

Yeah it sucks, but it’s only in first person games and mostly in low budget ones for some reason. I can play 100’s of hours in Halo, Battlefield etc. without even using any countermeasures.

I always have to tweak settings like motion blur, FOV, sensitivity, head bobbing, camera shake etc. Playing some games with the insane “vanilla” settings would have me vomit lol. High fps always helps too, so the new gen is a lot better and I almost always go for performance mode. VRR also helps!

But yeah, third person is like magic and removes all issues.

Fun little puzzle game with a really cool mechanic that I don’t think I’ve seen in a game before. You can become your shadow, and then you only interact with other shadows. So if there’s a broken staircase but the railing is fine your shadow can jump up onto the railing’s shadow and run across the gap in the staircase. Story was okay, but nothing special.

Did we ever figure out what our May game is going to be? I’m not sure what Game Pass games are being added in the first half of the month, or I’d suggest some. I know Sniper Elite 5 is coming out, but I feel like that should be an option for the June game since it doesn’t come out until the 26th.

Bugsnax is eggcellent and a breath of fresh air with all the crazy going on in the world. Nice whimsical mix of Pokémon and Slime Rancher. Just really charming and funny in bits. A big deal was made out of the conclusion of the story that was kinda over blown in my opinion. I actually couldn’t put this one down.

Probably my second favourite super hero game after Batman Arkham Asylum. The chemistry between the characters is brilliant and fit better than the movies. Such a shame it didn’t takeoff better than it did.

Gonna chill and play some Halo Infinite MP season 2 tonight. Also ordered a Razer Kishi for playing cloud games on the sofa whilst watching TV.
