I’ve only got 2 of those 100G achievements that I have lined up lol I need one more achievement that doesn’t have a guide. Will probably finish that later tonight.

I’ve been playing Haven lately and it is… good? It’s a pretty chill game where you basically don’t face any challenge at all, but it is fun to keep cleaning up the island and gathering resources / nest upgrades / miscellaneous items. It got me in the mood to go for No Man’s Sky next lol

I’m at 430/1000g with 13 achievements left. Looking at the achievement list I’m worried that it might need two playthroughs :frowning:

Only 2 achievements left in Valhalla. Completed the game almost 100%, only a handful of hunting/fishing challenges and treasure hoard maps left, plus 2 Xbox achievements. Glorious, gorgeous and addictive game. Might be my favourite Assassin’s Creed so far.

same here, a very relaxing game. for the 2 achievements for different endings i think you can copy save games.

Every GamerScore earned from now until Monday, December 14, 2020 1:59 AM will count towards Week 13’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the week will gain 10 points, the second place will gain 9 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new week will begin.

Every GamerScore earned until Friday, January 1, 2021 1:59 AM will also count towards December’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the month will gain 100 points, the second place will gain 90 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new month will begin.

Don’t forget that this topic is first and foremost destined to talk about all your achievements and trophies, discuss completions and even try to gather people for a boosting session! The Ranking is just a side activity to take part in.

my only achievement was one I got for messing around with Destiny 2 on Xcloud. It was for reaching level 20. Any Destiny veterans know why I got that achievement? I have never played destiny before and the achievement popped after I created my character

I believe that since Shadowkeep was released every character starts on level 20 so everyone can enjoy the expansions.

well I’ll be damned. That’s nice. I played half of the intro mission on Android, through VPN, before it got really laggy due to rain. It was great. I just hope they put more servers my side of the world. My girlfriend is using the xbox so I’m living on my phone for this week.

Has xcloud come to Brazil yet? I wanted to know how it’s working for you

The preview program went live here in Brazil last month, while it is already officially out in the US. The difference is that US people can stream directly from the Game Pass app, while we have to download the preview Streaming app that was used before.

The funny thing about it being the preview is that I can play via the cloud some games that are not part of Game Pass anymore, like Devil May Cry 5 :stuck_out_tongue:

But yeah, it works great in here! I haven’t used it much because I don’t see myself ever playing on my phone outside (especially because of the amount of data usage), and while I’m in my house I’m gaming either on my TV or on my notebook via Remote Play. But when I did play it I was surprised by how smooth it played since I thought it would be a challenge to implement a service like this in a third-world country like mine.

that’s great to hear man. I mean I will have very very rare times where I do need to resort to my phone but I’m glad I can play a AAA title and not some basic puzzler.

Completion #97: Haven

Great change of pace. Haven is a beautiful indie game where you face almost no challenge at all (especially after you master the combat gameplay). It is also fun to keep cleaning up the islands while gathering resources / upgrades / miscellaneous items. The story is interesting enough and the voice acting is top notch.

According to my save file it took me close to 22 hours to get every achievement – but to be honest it didn’t feel to me it was that long. I’ve also spent a lot of time trying to figure some achievements out, so the completion time can be cut by a few hours when / if a walkthrough is published.

It is my 13th Series X completion. I also hit the 150,000 Gamerscore milestone, fulfilling my goal for the year!

I put the game on hold after 40 hours, but I do plan to resume it someday. There are some achievements that I really despise, though, like catching all fish and… check notes… killing 3 soldiers 50 levels higher without breaking their shields while on fire in a single fight.

Yeah, those were a bit of a pain in the ass. The former would not even that bad: there’s only 19 kinds of fishes in the game and their locations are fairly fixed. However, the ones in the sea very rarely spawn for some reason, and in many cases they despawn in front of me. Took me hours when it could have been an hour or so. The latter… yeah, it’s a pain in the ass for sure. You have to lure 3 enemies with a red skull and a shield into the same area, lower their health as much as possible, then get on a hut and put it on fire, so you can finish them off with arrows while you’re burning. I messed up many times, but eventually I got it. Those were indeed the two most outrageous ones, but I’m glad it’s a 1000G. Still cleaning up some stuff because, according to Xbox’s leaderboards, I’m still at 94% competion!
