Could be due to delays. Mine shipped out overnight and is due the 13th.

The box it comes in is surprisingly small. So nice and premium. The texture grip on the new controller is really nice, more substantial then the 1X controller textured grip.
The seriesX is quieter then my 1X! Im playing gears 5 and its literally silent, my 1X would rev up when playing 4k games the seriesX is astonishing at how silent it is. Wizards.

the console itself is way smaller than it seems on the internet
I was a little surprised when I unpacked it. I call it the mini-me :]

Regarding heat, its very good, yes there is heat coming out the top like the same as out the back of the 1X, it is making the sheff where my switch is on slightly warm, but its very well designed. The fan does not seem to spin very fast or it is just a silent fan.

That is my exact setup, except one of the 1S controllers is white. So left one 1S controller downstairs with the theater, and the other is upstairs with the Series S. I get the new one when playing with others like my son
