Developer Replayne has announced that their 3D action platformer ‘Dynacat’ is headed to PC via Steam and Xbox consoles on the 1st of March. Players will play as Dynacat as the little feline goes on an adventure to save his homeland from an army of robots led by the Spherons. A demo is currently available on Steam and Xbox.
Dynacat has two main abilities: A magical tether which can attach things with a variety of effects and the ability to enter speed mode which allows him to run along walls and break through some obstacles.
The game features three types of stages: Action stages, Spheron stages and Special stages.
- Action stages – In action stages the goal is to reach the end of the stage to destroy one of the Spherons’ energy extractors. You can choose to speed through the stages like a roller coaster or explore and look for secrets.
- Spheron stages – Battle one of the Spherons to take back control of an area. Identify their weak points and skillfully traverse obstacles to reach them.
- Special stages – In these stages you have to collect a number of energy orbs and reach the goal within a time limit. Complete all the special stages for a special reward!
- For extra challenge, try completing the mission targets in the Action stages and Spheron stages.
