Absolutely love the Wheel of Time (despite all its flaws). I am old enough that I was buying and reading all of them as they were released. I recently bought the whole series on ePub, so I do plan a re-read at some point.
I own the entire Malazan series on Audible, but I have been too intimidated to start it. Ha. I also heard that, due to its “density” the audio books may not be the best format for a first read. I’m sure I’ll get to it someday. I have heard it is truly great if you can get past the challenge of it.

Some time and experience will heighten the re-read for sure! For me, it’s almost a different story this time, especially since it’s so very character driven. I’m enjoying it immensely.
Ah yes, I would not recommend audio version of this. It’s not suited for that at all imho, maybe on a re-read. I found myself going back, reading paragraphs more than once etc. There are so many characters, time-skips etc.
After WoT I’m diving into the side series of books set in the Malazan universe, there are 6-7 of those and they look very promising. The first book, Night of Knives, takes place between the prologue and the start of the first book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen f.e. Should be awesome.

Nice to see this thread still going strong. Think I’ll return at the end of the year and end up negative after being tempted by the sales so will make for a good 2026. Don’t see my sabbatical ending till Xmas and it’ll be nice to come back fresh then

Nice little puzzle game. I needed a guide for the last few levels, because it was getting a bit frustrating - but what’s the internet for, eh?
Unrelated question: I’ve got one game left in the Halo MCC. Are we counting each game as a +1? Or are the “DLC” games (ODST, Reach) only 0.5?

I would count each game as a +1, including Reach. ODST is a DLC for Halo 3 I’d say.
I’d count ODST as a full title; it was launched as one (I worked it).

Yep, the only “DLC” element there was for ODST was the new maps for Halo 3.
Cool, I only know it from the MCC where the "Halo 3: ODST"name and it being, well a dlc for the MCC I just assumed it always was that.

I got that back in Dec, was hoping it would be slightly more like the Hitman Go and Deus Ex Go games. I only tried the 1st level though.
I’ve been playing a bunch of Game Pass stuff (Miami Lane right now), but I did complete Age of Empires DE (2018) from my backlog. +1
Also finished the 2019 version, but I think I got that free from owning 2018. Also went back and completed the free Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 Fast and Furious. That one doesn’t count but it was fun to hop back into that for a little while. I also have some assorted DLC completions but I’ll have to list those later because I can’t remember which ones at the moment.
