I don’t expect a Starfield deep dive, it really should be it’s own event, but I think they should end the show with some kind of small teaser trailer, and maybe even say “tune in on x date for the Starfield deep dive”.
How much times have Nintendo Directs had a Zelda teaser by now? Too many to count.
Still I can understand people responding the way they do. Let’s not kid ourselves too much here, the report isn’t saying this about Starfield for no reason here. My guess is they heard something. Had the report said “including” Starfield we all would have been ecstatic, despite it not having been official yet.
Also, I believe the ones “bitching” all say “if”.

AoE2 will show up for sure as well as it launches a few days after the direct.
In a way, we must support this concept they’re going to do going forward. Good or bad, encourage them to do more of it or find something to tweak on. Can’t be like killing them off like how I imagined they felt with Inside Xbox.
If this is the start of many more smaller Directs for upcoming first party titles but also just general new Game Pass additions,…great! More updates from Xbox are always welcome and it really isn’t hard, just copy Nintendo’s format.
Yes please just copy Direct. State of Play copied it for a reason. Inside Xbox died for a reason. Hopefully by literally taking the “Direct” name, they understand.

February 2nd. Wonder if the last game being in Game Pass have them more awareness of the sequel.
It looks way more realized than the first game. I’m interested since they announced it.
It feels like they were more confident to even push it to 2023 for polish.
