XboxEra Community Hangout |OT7| Define "AAAA"

So you are saying that CDPR was hiding the state of the game from them…The same for BF2042 for example (EA was hiding the state of the game from them).

Maybe they should start checking these games  I think if the tried to play the game on console at least they would know, but what do I know

Damn, that too.

Man Xbox just doesn’t have the best of luck this year, that’s for sure. Would be nice if it releases though.

It’s good news that development on Stalker 2 has continued, if it was on track for December maybe we’ll have it early 2023.

And if they somehow can and did check, what do you think would be changed exactly? They can’t control anything about 3rd party. The marketing deals were made already and a lot of the marketing was done on E3 and on Twitter/YT prior.

I know Grubb said that TLOU remake is planned for this year but isn’t it a bit early? TLOU2 came out two years ago and ND is also working on a multiplayer project as well (Factions or whatever it is) which apparently became much bigger than what was initially planned.

Ragnarok will probably gonna release this year but the rest sounds like wishful thinking to me. If you think about it every PS rumor sounds like a hype piece and most of the times they turn out wrong…at this point I don’t believe anything rumor wise regarding PS5, I’ll believe it when I see it.

VASG was already working on TLOU remake . It was then transferred over to ND when TLOU 2 was released .

Yeah that’s what that Schreier article said but wasn’t this just a pitch from VASG? iirc Schreier didn’t said in that article how far was the project in terms of progress. Maybe I’m wrong but it still seems like a little bit early for a project like this.

New shmup from the makers of Touhou Luna Nights and Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. PC only for now but I assume it’ll be on Xbox someday.

This looks great! I also really enjoyed Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. Hopefully it will come to GP in the future.

It does sound a bit too good to be true. I mean we have all these companies delaying games, but it’s like ND wasn’t having issues with covid? I don’t believe that. Now it’s a remake, but I can definitely see some stuff from the PS3 game being reused, some buildings maybe, so it probably cannot be compared to a brand new title like Stalker 2, Suicide Squad, something like Starfield, Redfall etc.

If these games do all hit Sony has just been extremely lucky with the timing of when the games went into development and of course the ones they money hatted.

VASG?

I love achievements and trophys but trophys are better. I wish xbox had something like a plat for achievements because it is like that cherry on top. I would like them to seperate main game and dlc achievments. I wish they would make it so you can see secret achievments which I know is comming. if your a completionist the trophy system is better. if you not then the achievment system could be better because u just build a score as you play more games

At this stage of development when you sign deals games are mostly not done how are you supposed to know publisher bring games way to early.

Humble Games is actually a really good supporter of Game Pass. A lot of the stuff they publish usually release on the service day one.

Indie Live Expo is sparse as ever with Xbox ports. It’s all Switch/PC. It’s understandable that those are priority platforms for indies, especially JP ones. Though I am starting to doubt that whole “200 JP indie devs in ID@Xbox” thing. Doesn’t seem like it at all to me. And most times when a game here is actually on Xbox it’s Western, which is fine, I’m not knocking them for that, but again, 200 JP indie devs? Where :joy:?

It was two days event right? I suppose the first day was all of it. Assuming of course.

You know, games take time.

Not to mention a lot of these games were earlier in development.
