He alluded Sony might be involved in why it longer got shown at Xbox shows
They kinda have leverage (at least for the games that still come to PS4).
With PS5 and current state of Xbox, it becomes more interesting.
Oh, well, back to my âbaselessâ post then.
Whoâs gonna add to the projects thread now
Im just gonna say it, enough with the strategy games MS
We went from not enough to too many
I donât understand, how does this make anything in anyway worse for you?!
Because id want those teams to work on a different genre? Dont get me wrong, I enjoy some strategy but the genre isnât big enough to have this many games, at least on xbox
Who are âthose teamsâ?
The zenimax team that is supossedly working on the one Nick mentioned
If itâs Roundhouse I would have rather liked to see them working on a different genre.
And it would be a project that Zenimax might have forced on to them.
Doesnât sound like itâs Roundhouse, at least if Nickâs other rumor about them is true
Letâs see who first because it could just be a B team project
Roundhouse is rumoured to be working on a âcomicâ licensed IP as per this article
@Shpeshal_Nick is this the same thing you were pointing about Roundhouse?
HOW AND WHY?! Jeez. Are RTS games even big sellers or fit in any way with Zenimax for them to âforceâ it?! You know developers want to work on different kinds of games and not only ones you like, right?
Iâm not a fan of these games at all, but does Xbox have too many of them actually? Also what exactly did Nick say?
We know Arkane is working on Redfall and the other team is working on something knew, but I doubt itâs them. ZOS is making their new MMO. BGS Maryland is on Starfield, Montreal is on Fallout 76 content. No way ID is making a strategy game and MachineGames is on Indiana Jones.
I think only Roundhouse is left.
Yeah the forcing is not good. especially with Xbox favouring creative freedom. This happened pre acquisition then.
Roundhouse coming in from a bad spot after the âclosureâ of Human Head.
Roundhouse working on a genre they donât have much experience in.
Zenimax showing repeatedly interest in the RTS space.
Elder Scrolls RTS could very well be HH/Roundhouse biggest seller.
At the moment we donât know who it is, so letâs wait.
I donât think thatâs a massive reach.
What? Iâm not agreeing with him. Iâm wondering why tf would there be âforcingâ to make a genre thatâs not even big or thriving.
Itâs obvious that some will just assume that if game isnât made for them then itâs forced on the developers, for whatever reason.
That would be cool to be honest. I wonder what units and factions it would have though.
