It could be said that not having an agenda IS your agenda
What to you think of that, smart guy???

This month not only will we have Xbox+Bethesda Games Showcase but also Windows news. for those who play on PC or who work using a PC this will be interesting.
i always miss the doom posting partyâŚ
Donât worry it will come back in full force next week.
you mean 12 days left, if E3 disappoint. @ProgStopper will lead the doom campaign
Iâm pretty sure the Doom will come sooner, Iâm sure weâll hear a ton of âtemper expectationsâ messages from insiders.
Doom 2016 is the first game I played on Game Pass, and I LOVED it. Then Eternal came out and I loved it even more! Thanks, Game Pass.
Just finished Shadow Warrior 2.
Combat is great, melee feels fun and guns are punchy and fun to use as well. For the most part cool enemy design too. Some cool levels as well. Where it goes downhill for me is that it quickly becomes repetitive because they send you to the same locations way too much. This semi open world thing they went forâŚit takes me out of it. Also Wangâs comments got old real fast because thereâs a very low amount of different things he says.
But this is exactly the reason I am hyped af for Shadow Warrior 3. The devs are going for a linear campaign where every minute counts. So it might not be as long as 2 but it will have more density, thereâs platforming, thereâs a dedicated button for the swords, which is really good and the enemies look fucking cool. If you havenât seen it yetâŚwatch this, so awesome!
So I just finished recording a revisit to E3 2013 for my podcast / YouTube channel and man, that was a banger of a show. Exclusive after exclusive with new IPâs and strong 3rd party showings like MGS PP, Witcher 3 and Battlefield 4.
9/10 - less project spark and smart glass.
Such a shame they borked the May event and this got overlooked. Genuinely a bomb drop of a show.
You think it will take a whole week?
Microsofts marketing team in that era was terrible. Always beaten by Sony, and outsmarted as well
That was the conference with the 499 price tag. No 9/10 from me for this fumble.
I thought the xbox one e3 was better from a content perspective than the ps4 one. Just they took advantage of the bad xbox press and price.
Itâs just crazy that all those games were revealed and it still wasnât enough to keep Xbox in the positive press. Itâs something you can still feel the repercussions of to this day because a lot of those games (RYSE, Dead Rising, Quantum Break, Forza, Halo 5, Subset Overdrive, Killer Instinct and Titanfall) performed anywhere from good to amazing. But commercially none of them really took off as another Xbox franchise (other than Forza / Halo / Titanfall).
You can imagine Microsoft seeing the commitment to these first party games essentially fail and stop putting funding there as a result.
The craziest thing is that people still think that E3 was the famous âTV TV TV Kinectâ fiasco, when that was the reveal event but people have Mandala Effectâd themselves into thinking that was the same E3.
Yeh price tag was bad compared to the competition but I suppose I am more tolerant of it considering I bought the series X which was similar in price.
What else do you consider a fumble about this conference?
2013 was a strange year for E3, honestly. Neither particularly had many games to excite me, but I think it speaks to how powerful messaging is, that Sony had very little in the way of games, but them saying all the right things, lead to a massive boost in their momentum and would go on to lead to their success that generation.
just them undercutting Microsoft was a massive enough deal but PR disaster on the Xbox side paired with Sony weaponizing that PR disaster in a brutal way was just insanity. 2013 was very much a battle of who was saying the right things and who wasnât, because honestly, at least on the Playstation 4, while a great system overall, I found 2014 a very lackluster year for games, and aside from Bloodborne in 2015, the first party hits really didnât start until 2016.
Honestly kinda jarring comparing Sonyâs PS4 messaging to their PS5 messaging, because they were a fuckin mess on PS5. Also think it speaks to how much price matters and how little everything else does, because for all of the PS5âs messaging mess, they nailed priceâŚand thatâs ultimately all that mattered. 100 dollars more expensive from the PS4 on the standard edition, and PS5s are being sold left and right.
