So it was funny… I was debating last night about Call of Duty WWII Vanguard with a few other people, and when I check the timeline, I see just randomly comes in and hints that Kojima + Xbox is real?

Man Im ready for this Vanguard mess. Need to see if Activision is really gonna axe the game.

1. Not even Microsoft acknowledges the game in its store or its list as any kind of enhancement and Thats not an oversight on their part.

2. we cant discuss topics that is causing conversation here? Like sometimes here the patrolling on what we can talk or not gets kinda ridiculous. We have been talking civilized about it with nothing getting out of hand so I dont get the hostility and the reproach when all we are is talking about what could had happened.

3. I dont think Obsidian is coming back to make any kind of proper enhancement at this rate. They just lifted the cap on X and PS5 and thats it.

I am 98% sure the 60 FPS Boost is what they were discussing, but I could be wrong. I doubt they enhance the game at this point so I do not see the point in beating a dead horse.

See this is what confuses me…

Why not just axe the game if they are expecting to perform bad?

See the problem is all we have is second-to-third hand information. Most leakers are saying the game is in bad shape, but that’s all we have.

Maybe Vanguard is in really good shape, but it’s just another WWII title so they expect it to be bad?

I NEED ANSWERS.

I also think that’s the situation, but we can say that’s a cheap effort, when smaller studios have done better with less successfull products, it’s no high treason. XD

For all I know when they said the game would be optimized for the Series X they meant the 60 FPS Boost. The game already looks amazing so I don’t think it really needs much enhancement besides the boost. I believe it already runs at 4k but I could be wrong.

However, Series S is left in dust, One S settings is really lame, it could easily do 1080p60fps without much effort.
