I donât think they need to, they should just continue to support webcams as they have currently.
I think a Kinect/VR hybrid wouldnât be a bad idea since VR has been growing over the years and if the rumors of a Steam and Xbox partnership is true then that would be a way to play VR games on Xbox such as Half Life Alyx or Beat Saber.
Has VR been growing? Currently itâs mostly Facebook and Steam that try to push it as Sony has recently mostly given up on it(which is bad enough because I think they were the most popular). Facebook is also losing money on itâs development as itâs no where near where analysist said it would be by now.

VR is not growing, in fact its foray into mainstream is effectively dead - what with Sony basically dropping support, entire studios and divisions dedicated to VR being shuttered at places like Meta, etc.
Claiming otherwise is like living in a different reality at this point and I donât think Kinect would be any different

I think it was great, if only it was optional at launch and had more compatible games and not just some gimmicks in random games.
Leaning so it does the same ingame would have been great for FPS. There was a lot of untapped potential.

Yeah my family had a ton of fun with Kinect. The only mistake was making it the centerpiece of the console instead of a fun extra. Doubt it ever comes back though, the well is poisoned.

I enjoyed turning the Xbox on and off with Kinect. I tried the games, but they just werenât for me.

I got a dance one free with my 360 Kinect when I bought it - was actually pretty accurate, fun and a great workout lol
The other games were fun too, came closer with groups of friends to the party games you could get on the Wii (even similar games in places, like both had chaotic fun multiplayer Rabbids games)

Add Hades to GTA, TLOU and Monster Hunter as âclearly excellent games, but so overhyped itâs fucking insaneâ. So no loss for me!
