So FF7R is announced for Switch 2 but nothing yet for Xbox? Squeenix, why do you hate us?

It was a Switch 2 event. Iâd rather the Xbox announcement at an Xbox event.

I donât even think they announced when is it coming.
Fromsoft making another exclusive after the massive hit that was Elden Ring on every platform is certainly a choice, especially considering how Bloodborne has sold far less than their multiplatform games even though itâs on PlayStation, probably their 2nd biggest player base after PC, besides Dark Souls 1 Remastered there isnât even another Fromsoft Souls like game on Switch, Iâm sure Nintendo is funding everything but still, this is very disappointing to me, I was convinced that they were done with exclusives after Elden Ringâs success 
It just makes so little sense the more I think about it⌠I donât think Fromsoft is in need of funding from anyone and their games are currently guaranteed successâŚ

Oh man, as bad as life was two weeks ago because it didnât look great for my fantastic dogâŚitâs so damn good this week.
Ever since February 8th my dog Lara had this very weird thing where after a walk sheâd turn into a âzombieâ completely lifeless. My holistic pet doctor immediately thought it was something similar to epileptic episodes/attacks, but my regular/normal pet doctor didnât think something in the brain was causing it at all, and neither did a osteopathic pet doctor think that.
We did have photos made of her neck and hips and nothing came out of that. And the more signals from Lara I saw, the more I thought I was seeing signs of epilepsy or something similar. But after since three weeks or so things have been going upwards slowly but steady. In the beginning the bad âstatesâ lasted almost half a day, then like 5 hours, then last week and this week only half an hour in the morning and ever since yesterday they are gone.
Last Monday the osteopathic doctor treated her and said the muscles in neck and back felt stiff, so she loosened those up. So if thatâs indeed the cause Iâve no idea, and we might never find out but the fact sheâs doing so wellâŚis everything to me. Ngl, I was depressed when she was feeling that way, and this week feels like I was reborn.

A small thing, but so curious. Reddit thread about game prices, people stanning for Nintendo, people being angry, etc.
Someone says âitâs even worse on PSN, digital prices are crazy and I just bought a digital PS5!â
Someone replies âcould be worse, could have been an Xbox!â
Take a step back and look at this in the context of a thread about the cost of gaming: âwoe is us this is so expensive, but letâs not buy the console that has Game Pass [and is releasing their own games into this service at nearly the rate of one a monthâŚ?!] [let alone why buy a digital PS5 rather than a disc one if this is the problem?! There are choices within the same ecosystem!]â
I donât give a fuck what games you like, you do you, but just from a consumer POV is this not⌠weird? And expressive of a failure on MSâs part, and a lead-footed attitude amongst fans?

Itâs a defensive nature among fans, itâs what Xbox has had issues with for years - the 360 was a brief reprieve but most of the console user bases have been doing this for years and can rattle off their talking points from memory lol.
While the casuals just go wherever the marketing or their friends go.
This is a case in point - PlayStation fans getting defensive so attacking the Switch 2, this PS article even listed it as 5GB RAM which finally got corrected and is ridiculous given we donât know most of the specs, itâs just pure stanning for Sony in the hope of influencing buyers and getting review codes from daddy PlayStation:

None of how MS is perceived matters in the gaming landscape. These are the same people that would curse Xboxâs name while simultaneously drop to their hands and knees begging for their games on their preferred platform. For me, the cognitive dissonance is what bothers me the most. PC/Xbox are imo, the most consumer friendly entities in gaming, while the Japanese console makers are trying to bleed their captive audience dry.
You said it yourself in that reddit thread, theyâre blindly defending Sony/Nintendo. Weâll see how long they can keep it up.

(capture seems juddery but frame pacing is stable, likely a higher frame rate or uncapped converted to 30FPS video) Cyberpunk 2077: 720p~1080p30 (one shot at 540p30 but seems to be from handheld mode, includes DLC that wasnât possible on last gen) FF7 Remake: 1080p30 (with frame pacing issues) THPS3+4: 4k60
Botw/totk S2: 1440p60 Metroid Prime: Seems 4k but unable to be sure because of AA

maybe the dog just pulled something bad and that was itâs way of dealing with it. We had a french bulldog that lost control of itâs back legs over time; eventually losing control of itâs bowels. sad. great the fellow is doing much better it seems!
