One source claims the next Bloober game with Konami is Silent Hill 1 Remake and will come to all platform. SH2R exclusivity is up after a year later.

No One Lives Forever (the irony), F.E.A.R, Condemned and Middle-Earth were/are some of my favourite ever games.

You would think WB would have tried to sell them off, rather than close.
Hopefully the devs land on their feet somewhere soon.
No One Lives Forever is a odd scenario as I think WB own part of the rights and ABK (Xbox) own the rest. It could have been an ideal scenario for Xbox to pick up the studio.
A gaming studio with no IP and nothing in production is a negative asset. Studios that havenāt proved profitable even more so. If these were desired theyād be bought.
Iām sure any potential buyer could agree to purchase some of the IP. Xbox (ABK) already partially own some of the rights to games they developed (F.E.A.R and No One Lives Forever).
You have to remember Monolith also created Nemesis, one of the best gaming systems ever made.
Who would buy a studio that hasnāt released a game in like a decade and has no IP to offer. Sony could use the help, but they are struggling right now. The only thing I could say here is if the studio was willing to make a deal with Xbox games publishing sort of like the one Koei Tecmo did for Ninja Gaiden Black and 4.
For the same reason I mentioned above:
Plus we know they are a talented studio so they could easily work on a different IP (already owned by the potential buyer).
Itās not like they would be expensive as they are relatively small (100 employees) and WB are willing to close them so the new buyer would only need to cover minimal costs.

I reckon they would be expensive - itās a North American company. Overheads such as salaries would be higher in Canada or the US.

Iām guessing there is still sold former arrangements with PS+ that need to run itās course.
The acquisition didnāt actually close until the very end of 2023 so thereās likely some deals they still have to honour for the next few years.
