While true, I believe Bungie is the worst. No money back, layoff after layoff at rapid rate, which says a lot, failed expectation met, Marathon still in question, and now this.

I think you give ND too much credit. Maybe the gaming press may resonate with that but with todayās new audience I doubt that. The naughty dog games havenāt been big on PC, and they seem in decline.

Yeah, it all depends on how you look at it. On the other hand, Bungie at least gave them a big IP that is constantly in the top 100 best selling Steam games and is an ongoing concern even if smaller. Concordās dev was bought and shuttered without a dollar made ever.
ETA: But youāve certainly got a solid argument with Bungieās price tag and ongoing problems!

Itās most likely going to be a new Tales of game which im looking forward to. I enjoyed Tales of Arise but hoping they make the combat system better.
Seeing that Assassinās Creed Shadows has a ācanonā mode in it intrigues me because im wondering if itās like AC Origins where thereās no dialogue choices and the story is just straightforward. If so, I will be playing in this mode because thereās no point in making choices and decisions if itās not going to carry over into dlc/expansions or future games. Gotta see how it actually works but definitely intrigued.

There are very few non-Nintendo Japanese franchises I have any interest in, but Iād be intrigued by another Shenmue.
Maybe another Mother/EarthBoundā¦ that would certainly fit the ādidnāt expect to returnā criteria.
But Tales hasnāt been gone for long and this sounds like the return of something thatās been away for a while. That being said, i did see a tweet about a new Tales game yesterday, I believe by the HazzadorGamin account.

There was a poll of some kind recently or something about a new Shenmue, so who knows. But didnāt 3 flop hard?
Iām going with Tales because it just had a trademark or something recently so thatās why im thinking that itās the next Tales game. Iām not expecting anything new from Capcom because with Monster Hunter Wilds a few months away, they donāt really need to show anything new until the Spring. However, they did show Wilds a year ago and Dragonās Dogma 2 was a few months away at that time so itās definitely possible but im staying with no because I donāt want to get excited especially if it was a Dino Crisis remake/new entry and then nothing happens.

I donāt know about that, but itās true it didnāt do as well as they were hoping. Iām sure thereās a few reasons for that, two of which involved exclusivity: console-exclusive to PlayStation, and one year of PC exclusivity to the Epic store meant they lost out on a lot of potential Steam sales during the buzzy launch period.
If they did a non-exclusive launch this time around I have no doubt theyād do better. Maybe even port III to Xbox and Switch to whet the appetite for those in those eco systems.
