Playing another ‘be a pro’ career in NHL 23 and I always feel a proper sports RPG would be so cool.

Rising up as a young player in any big sport, with all the challenges on the road to stardom.

These kind of modes in current sports games are cool but pretty shallow.

How good would you expect the sport itself to be in a sports RPG?

To me these modes are like if you took a good fantasy action RPG and then removed the story, some of the fantasy and then any sort of ending. Basically you would just be running around killing stuff and leveling up, but there would be no point to any of it. It’s still fun, but ultimately pointless.

Haha, was just curious. I really enjoyed that oke Dodgeball Sports RPG. Also a sucker for sports anime.

You can kinda imagine something Persona-ish for a game like that I feel like.

Hopefully they don’t fuck up anything else with the UI while trying to appease the people that love background/wallpaper.

I would rather have a working UI then one that is cumbersome, even harder and slower to get to what i need. My Xbox background is always set to just the default black.

I would rather have a working UI then one that is cumbersome, even harder and slower to get to what i need. My Xbox background is always set to just the default black.

Some of the user made videos looked really good, I would not mind at all if they look at that a bit.

I’ve been playing chained echoes and wow this game is amazing. It’s got a real nice old school JRPG feel and the battle system is solid. Playing it makes me think you don’t even need to have Japanese developers to create a solid old RPG experience. I think games like chained echoes and child of light shows that. It’s a damn shame we didn’t get a sequel for child of light because the battle system was too good for a one off

Have you tried RTTS in MLB The Show? It’s been a few years since I played the mode, but it was pretty in depth.
