Possibly, so it can piss Sony off again. But seriously, I say it’s a good 50/50. If they do, then they clearly see it beneficial, which would not bud well for Sony. Generate money, sure, but making Game Pass look good, that’s treason.

I think it’s going to do very well because March/April is dead. There’s nothing of interest that’s worth buying. Plus, it’s a co-op game. Perfect fit and will get way more people into the game as opposed to having to buy it for $70.
Dying Light 2 will be much bigger than Wonderlands without Game Pass and Techland doesn’t appear to be in any money troubles, at least not anymore. Elden Ring would be great since I wouldn’t have to buy it but I don’t see that happening at all.
Embracer owns Gearbox but Take Two Interactive owns the Borderlands/Wonderlands IP’s and they’re publishing the game. It’s not Embracer. If Microsoft wants Wonderlands, they have to go through TTI.

there is no big games in next months would be day and date on GP, expect old big games from last 3 years.
I’m not gonna expect a whole lot for Game Pass in terms of big, new multiplatform titles but what about just older titles that haven’t been on Game Pass before? We talked about this in the GP thread too. Ideally Xbox gets some big stuff in place of Stalker 2, but i doubt this will happen.
I’m honestly glad I kept some real big games like RDR2, AC Origins and Oddysey and so on, because only Indie games just don’t do it for me.
