Xbox Game Studios |OT8| Leaving The Drought Behind And Heading For Starfield

Looks like all the possible branches, paths, etc. for his Disco Elysium type game.

Honestly, I think the more likely outcome is just Microsoft investing massively into the already existing BGS studios, allowing them to release 1 game in all 3 IPs (ES, Starfield, Fallout) every generation, instead of starting a new studio dedicated to fallout.

Same time though, I’d say MS has so many RPGs in development, that I don’t think they are particularly upset that a Fallout game is far out, if they decide to just not do anything about it.

Yes a lot of folks will be super upset at a mainline FO skipping a generation, but a polished, using a mature Creation Engine 2, next gen launch title Fallout 5 does seem like a strong possibility to me.

Don’t forget Indiana Jones (likely started before the acquisition, but still).

Bethesda + Xbox makes me so happy, Bethesda Softworks fans are honestly some of the most passionate gaming fans out there, from quakecon to the elder scrolls/ fallout mod community, there’s always an interesting story behind a Bethesda fandom. Some of the most passionate fans in gaming are part of the Bethesda fandom.

It’s a good thing Bethesda didn’t sink low like Blizzard and I don’t even mean the whole serious situation. I’m only referring to how they treat their fans and games, like Reforged. 76 could have been but they dedicated themselves to fix it and they did. They should be credited for that.

Xbox saved them from closing down a studio or two. This can help them to get back on their feet and be like the good old days and more. Perhaps Starfield would have arrived last year if they didn’t have a new philosophy under Xbox. Gamers deserve top quality. I can’t wait to see the effects in the coming days.

Wow never really thought about that, launch window for the next Xbox could be amazing with all the studios.

Imagine them having 2 studios at Bethesda and giving us an end of the platform Fallout and launch Starfield 2/Elder Scrolls 7 though.

yeah , imagine having Fallout 5 as a launch title for xbox series X2 , it would be a very strong start

If you love Fallout so much, give Wasteland a chance. You can play 1-3 on Xbox/PC.

So this could be the Xbox version Aoe4. This Is probably reason for the mediocre graphic of this game.

Yes this is about AoE 4 on Xbox and no this isn’t the reason why the graphics aren’t realistic, that was them trying to get the game on as many PC’s as possible, not the Xbox holding the game back.

I’m not sure about this because also UI Is really bad and without soul and It was on of the most critized element of the game by the whole community. A too semplicistic UI It could have been made for the console players Who don’t have much feeling with this genre.

If that was true why isn’t it on console right now, if they made the UI/graphics for console why the hell didn’t it launch on console day 1. They simplified the game and such because they wanted more people to play it not because they were catering to Xbox, doesn’t even make sense considering its a PC exclusive right now. One of the devs even said the reason why its not on Xbox is because they watned to get it right on PC first.

It have been developed already Thinking to a future console version. You don’t open a internal version of this game only two months After the PC version Launch. It’s impossible. There was another console version in the work. The meme “the graphic Is not realistic or not good for a 2021” because we wanted to make this game runnable on the most of specs It’s stupid for me. All of us know that every PC Game have been developed with the best specs to maximize the graphic and After that adapted to the other specs and configuration. The funny facts: the reasons behind these choices (graphic, UI, animations, effects, physics, editor and more) are alienating the most of fans. Look at the Steam stats: only 9000/15000 players now in comparison to the 75000 at Launch.

MS should stop caring more about entitled pc elitists and serve the whole Xbox ecosystem (day one, they have the means to do it), also any game needs content to keep being popular and AoE 4 is a GaaS launched not light, but also not super heavy either, there’ll be plenty of DLCs, it’s currently not comparable to AoE 2 with 20+ years worth of content.
