Bait them in with Redfall/GamePass

Then keep them locked in when Starfield arrives :philwins:

I debated buying that before launch but I didn’t want to pay for car packs and that stuff because it isn’t worth it to me. Only expansions, also depending on how good and different they look.

I was going to say “Isn’t this much too soon” but I checked the last couple Horizon games DLC releases and the first was usually out a few months after the main game launch so I suppose it’s not too soon at all

What is the first DLC about?

Game Pass was the reason they got it lol, and one of them (PC guy) is a Bethesda fanboy  he’s already locked

My thinking on it was I’m prob gonna buy the DLC and I’m better off buying the add on pack early to take advantage of the other VIP bonuses, the early access too was nice.

Usually gets announced at E3 then released soon after (days)

No clue

The normal pattern for Forza Horizon DLC is that the first major expansion is something more serious that provides new options as a driving game. Forza Horizon 3 had blizzard mountain for example, the first major snowy area for the series, and Forza Horizon 4 had fortune island - a mountainous stormy region. There was a rumour this first DLC would be a city based environment, but I don’t think it was a particularly reliable source so I would take that with a huge pinch of salt. Either way, something in the more serious range of expansions is likely.
The SECOND expansion they normally just go “fuck it” and do something fun. FH3 had a hot wheels expansion and FH4 had a lego expansion.
The interesting part is they are usually testing new ideas and engine tech for the next game in these expansions, so you might get a tiny hint of what we’ll see in FH6 through them.

Which studio gonna make it?

Who will lead is even more interesting question

“This is very early, but people have begun to have talks and say these words in sentences, and these words are ‘Obsidian’ and ‘New Vegas 2’,” Grubb said. — “We’re talking years and years away. There’s at least an interest and conversations happening about making something like that actually a reality”

If this is true… Then they are simply looking for the options they have to make this IP… I even think We may have two games on Fallout … One from Obsidian and one whatever Bethesda would make

They are likely doing this because a BGS fallout would be at least a decade away, at best

BGS just dont have the time whereas Obsidian will be somewhat free after Avowed

Bring on The Marcus Fenix collection with Gears of War 2 getting the Halo 2 Anniversary treatment.

I guess they might be coming to Playstation too, due to being legacy titles.
