Picked up only the Game Pass games on the xbox top 50 most played lists and Fallout 76 is currently #16.
Id worry more about one other game not being there instead of saying nonsense about 76.

Idk people hated 76 since the announcement just cause people automatically tilted it as multiplayer trash (like they do with anything these days that has any online component) and had mass tantrums despite BGS being CLEAR what the game was and it also didnt help that it launched the way it did. The game is in a great state but the narrative online still remains about the game being bad or unplayable (its not).

He is implying Bethesda is slowly stopping to support F76, how much is true? I saw the video and the content updates are not great compared to ESO, because not paid, but they can’t make them premium because of game bad name and/or commit the resources. We’ll se how it evolves.

Jeez, yeah, if nothing changes inbetween we could be going for ten more years without a new mainline, making it 15 years in total since Fallout 4, good lord. Who knows though, Todd could change his mind, inXile or Obsidian could become available and make a spin off.
But right now that seems very unlikely, and with all the RPG goodness coming from XGS…I guess they don’t even need it. I do need it though 
If Starfield and God of War switched platforms I wonder what the percentage would be.
Probably lower for Starfield since you’re cutting out the entire PC population.

Starfield is gonna be incredible man.
Fallout 76 seems its a dying game. They did well to fix it, and to make it sucessful, but yea,MS cant be happy with just this for the generation.

They are getting Starfield the highly anticipated new IP from BGS and TES6 as exclusives at a minimum this gen. They gonna be really happy lol.

In terms of Fallout I mean. You have a team put together to make Fallout 76, and thats now dwindling in terms of player count. It makes sense this team now goes on to make a new Fallout game as they earned the right with how they fixed 76

Just looking at the pictures above for both Steam and Xbox.
As a multiplat that is on Xbox, Playstation, Windows Store, Steam, and Bethesda’s own launcher it adds up. Also just like with SoT these games are always a ROI situation, if it wasn’t making enough to justify its existence it would get shut down.

Not expecting the game to be shut down, i just think MS will start to put the project on the backburner in favour of thier own exclusive Fallout game
They’ve got the Pitt expansion coming out soon which for all we know may be a more “traditional” type fallout experience. And other future content. It’s not going anywhere. I think they have plenty of content planned beyond the Pitt anyway
