This would be awesome, but what could be left for TGA if both Hellblade 2 and Avowed would be at this Xbox show?
But that was during an interview on XboxWire, Urquhart said it, it was not a trailer, it would be a self inflicted pr damage imo if they don’t show it this year.
Redfall.
Hmmm, but that would likely be nothing but an announcement of the partnership and no game shown yet. But that’s only an assumption based on what Grubb said.
Of course there could be a concept for a game now and maybe even a CG trailer. It would be enough to stir up some feelings for… some…well…a lot. Lmfao.
I’m ready for " Kojima was never good anyway " takes .
Honestly, considering last Kojima decade, it would be good only for the broken hearts among media/fanboys, but for actual news Avowed is much higher in my list. XD
I could have given you that years agp
lol
Yes!
It’s infact possible and actually a no brainer
But a show remembering the past 20 years only is something xbox could also do
20 years of Xbox, i was 19 when that big black box came out, but it honestly feels longer ago. You’d think this is definitely something to celebrate and not just with only a tweet or article dedicated to it. A stream/event would make so much sense, Xbox certainly deserves it. Especially when you consider all that’s happened. An amazing first gen, a absolutely stellar gen with 360 until Kinect made its big entrance, a good gen with Xbox One but with quite a few bimbos and now Xbox looking more promising than ever before.
This way they would stay in the headlines quite a bit too, let’s assume Avowed and Hellblade 2 would be at this event and Redfall at TGA, November and December would be Xbox months since it has FH5 and Halo Infinite too of course.
Showing Avowed this early, assuming it’s early to mid 2023 release, also shows Xbox is not afraid to show something very early and it would also prove how dependable and consistent Obsidian truly is.
As for Hellblade 2 though, didn’t Grubb specifically mention TGA too when he talked about the game recently?
I’m not a fan of “originals”. Ubisoft is doing this shit and it’s like ugh, we know it’s from you because no one else is releasing an AC game. lol.
Personally, I wouldn’t have them separate. Instead, they would all be listed alphabetically and I would change ZeniMax online to Bethesda Online. Because separate publishing arm or not, Microsoft is the owner. It’s like Deep Silver/THQ Nordic/Prime Matter. They’re all separate but yet, are all owned by Embracer Group. I always go based on who the parent company that owns it all is and in this case, it’s Microsoft.
Hahaha. This 100%.
Not expecting this to be the case but hoping it is over FH 5 and HI.
This would be ideal for X021 (60 minutes) -
- Hellblade 2 gameplay reveal
- Redfall gameplay reveal
- Stalker 2 gameplay trailer…full exclusive announcement…hehehe
- Starfield gameplay teaser (see more at E3 2022…which would already confirm that Microsoft is participating)
- Halo Infinite campaign gameplay trailer closes out the show
TGA -
- Compulsion Games New IP reveal
- Avowed gameplay reveal
- Spencer on stage to introduce Kojima who announces an exclusive game for Xbox Series/PC/Cloud. Post show, it’s revealed that he’s signed a multi-game exclusive deal with Microsoft
Zenimax is still the trademarks holder for all Bethesda things, it’s a legal matter and I doubt they’ll change it to mantain the semi-independent subsidiary structure, so there is no reason to change the name of the studio.
Hasn’t ZeniMax been dissolved? Also, why would they have any trademarks since Microsoft acquired ZeniMax? That can’t be right.
Yes there is; it’s a bad name.
The board of directors was dissolved, now Zenimax exists only as a legal placeholder under Xbox. If you go under any Bethesda game/website/store page on any platform, Zenimax is still the rights holder. It’s a technicality.
damn . this is some good stuff here .
I’m very curious aboyt AlphaDog future, I think after they release their Doom mobile game they could be folded/sold off, I don’t see MS internally developing mobile stuff.
That’s weird. So wait a minute, Starfield for example is still a trademark of ZeniMax then? Shouldn’t Microsoft be the sole owner and all that after acquiring them for $7.5B?
Thanks. Unlikely to happen but im hoping it all does.
It is indeed, anyway I don’t see the problem, Zenimax is fully owned by MS.
