It is all about choices, the more choices you give to the players, the more will come into your ecosystem.

Hence why anyone losing their crap over Starfield and ES6 not coming to PS5 are missing the bigger picture. Those games will be easily accessible to everyone. There’s no need to buy any hardware you don’t already have to try them out. If Sony doesn’t block xCloud on PS5 then they could even be “playable” there too.

Microsoft doesn’t care about hardware. They’re all in on services. The Xbox consoles just give gamers an additional optimized option, which I’ll likely stick with until internet speeds and tech upgrades (maybe Orion?) sufficiently minimize lag.

Just imagine E3 2022 man, it starts (maybe) again with Todd on stage and a deep dive into Starfield. We’ll probably get a bit where he walks around in the ship, he’ll show a location seen in the concept artworks and so much more. Whatever they have at the show is a bonus for me, next year E3 for me is Xbox Presents Starfield Deep Dive by Todd Howard.

Starfield is definitely my most anticipated 2022 title.

I think it’s cloud gaming, but still PC only. This allows people with low-spec PCs to play it from the cloud.

at last year’s Sony show, we know that Sony’s First party specializes in 3rd person games so What did Sony do? They brought in

Microsoft does have third-person games. Fable is a third-person game for instance. Grounded has a third person mode. Hellblade 2 will be a third-person game. Everwild was presented as third-person game but that got rebooted when the new director came in so who really knows about that game. So it does have some coming and we don’t know what all their projects are.

I would like to see more as well. But sometimes you just have to play your hand.

Edit: swapped outer worlds 2 for Hellblade 2 as was pointed out outerworlds 2 is a first person game. I misremebered.

Well, this person could be right about that or wrong, because there was no mention on what this was running on. They did do that for FarCry 6 and MSFS.

But it’s how these people say it, it’s with the incentive to start a childish console war. Stalker 2 for example was PC, that’s what I gathered from Digital Foundry since according to Alex the studio is targeting 30fps with RT for Xbox. And this footage was 60fps.

That being said,I have 100% faith in PG , their track record is impeccable.
