Sony with there name can push new IPs so it perfect for them and costs less
Xbox with there money can buy exsiting IPs and they don’t have to wait for the new IPs to get attention

RPG is my favourite genre. Obsidian is my favourite studio. Xbox is my favourite console.
I wish I could go back in time and tell myself this would happen, not sure I’d believe myself tbh.
Xbox has some gold mine in talent in all their studios.
The only studio I’m still wary of is Compulsion.
Didn’t they pitch for an unannounced AAA title?
Just looking at the QoL improvements in the W3 DLC now that they don’t have to worry about pinching pennies is a small glimpse of what’s to come. People who have never played any of their games are probably going to be shocked beyond belief when the AAA RPG drops.
Don’t know what they’re making now, but they need to prove themselves somewhat.
Compulsion Games is only a small studio of 36 people, but the business is set to grow after the launch of We Happy Few this summer. “The fact that we were going to grow was inevitable, with or without Microsoft,” said Guillaume Provost. However, he is reassuring: "We are not going to have 300 people in three years. We have always grown in a gradual fashion, taking the time to choose our candidates wisely and consider the needs of the team. The difference is, now we can do it without having to worry too much about how much it’s going to cost. "
In the longer term, the founder of Compulsion Games hopes that his studio will be recognized internationally for its major and quality works. The genre of games he creates - titles with strong stories, which aren’t necessarily online and without microtransactions, for example - is often associated with Sony affiliates, like Naughty Dog Studios and Santa Monica. Guillaume Provost is not afraid of comparison.
“We are not yet big or mature enough to compete with these studios, but we can create a trajectory to do so,” he explains.
An ambitious goal? Certainly. But Compulsion Games now has the means to fulfill its ambitions.
Too many rumors, Oh no The hype is getting to me LOL
I am sure that will be music to @Doncabesa ears lol.
I will never trust the music industry, so I’m expecting at least 5 strikes anyways
I was going to call you cynical but then I remembered what the music industry is like .
It’s a good thing being done by Microsoft though and honestly is something one should expect this corporations to do for ultimately people who help promote their products.
Oh thank goodness because my summer game fest stream got claimed
