The same as putting Game Pass anywhere else. More money coming into Xbox who buy more publishers/studios/sign more 3rd party games into Game Pass.

Putting Game Pass on Stadia is much different actually. Xcloud is (will be) availabile on every screen Stadia is and will be available to users without substantial investment. Stadia does not havr a significant user base. Game Pass on Stadia would encourage Stadia ports strengthening their platform.

I feel like this is only a question because someone is trying to draw a comparison with Switch lol.

Stadia runs on Linux-based servers, it’s a non-starter. It is literally a 0% chance of happening.

I could see it at Gamescom maybe, during the Geoff Keighley show, a bit like what Sony did with R&C.

So… it seems that Yuji Naka was laid off Square Enix after the whole Balan Wonderworld fiasco.

Would it be a good idea to bring him into XGS and create a new Japanese studio? Or is he way past his prime now?

They will do it when it is fully ready. Nobody knows the reasons why they apparently pulled it out, but I feel like we will get another 100 posts about Xbox being doomed now.
