Playground Games started working on Fable early 2017 (Planning Jul 2016) to compete open world genre, many open world games released then such AC Origin, AC Odyssey, RDR2, Zelda, Days Gone, Death Stranding, HZD & speaking about the latter its sequel is about to release and yet Fable don’t has a release window.

I hope everything is ok with PG especially its 1st game outside Racing.

If they started in 2017, then development is going as normal since it’s just been 4 years. And all the games you mentioned started dev before 2017 or are made by much larger studios.

• Outriders (AAA 3rd Party Game) coming Day 1 on GamePass
• EA Play on GamePass launches today
• Massive amount of more GamePass games arrive back-half of March. Octopath Traveler and Undertale are part of them.
• Auto HDR coming to Windows
• FPS Boost for Bethesda titles.
• id@Xbox featuring over 100 games, new announcements and GamePass stuff coming March 26th.

I know Jeff Grubb seems to believe FH5 will be released this year, but we’ve heard exactly zero percent of anything official on it. Did it happen before that a FH game was announced and released that same year? Didn’t these games get teased a year before full reveal first?

Nah, they announce and release the same year. FH4 was E3 2018 → release in the fall.

This is the case for essentially every recent Forza except the new Motorsport.

This fall for Xbox will be massive.

Even if there is only Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite or Halo Infinite and Starfield, Xbox Series will sell like hot cakes.

Is supply can sustain demand, Xbox will be huge by next year.

I just hope we’ll have some nice surprises from XGS till the end of the year, Flight Simulator, Psychonauts 2… I hope both of them will be out by september.

You know how I know Forza Horizon 5 is coming out this year? CHVRCHES is releasing an album this year. When the latter happens, the former can’t be far behind to let us zoom down motorways at 100MPH while jamming to some sick synth pop.

Have there been any real rumblings that it’s set in Japan? Many want it, including me, but I have a feeling it won’t.

My bet is on one of the important markets, a bit cynical perhaps that that would be a consideration but I think so. Japan could fit, and so could Mexico, Brazil, India among others.
