who own the ip and who own crysis publishing right ? i’m personally down to any game by crytek made for next gen consoles
What, another Ryse? Who said this, where? It would be Great.
That’s the rumour I was told
Hmm, so if it was supposed to release last year, would it have been cross-gen or current-gen only?
And I hope this means the game is very polished and bug-free!
self published or another publisher will have right
Xbox ecosystem exclusive?
On the podcast he said multi-platform.
As it should be too. They own Bethesda now, it’s a Xbox company. According to those in the know Sony isn’t slowing down either with their timed exclusive deals and likely even buying up full exclusivity deals. This is not the time for Xbox to be(come) the good guy at all.
That would be kinda odd, since the first one isn’t on PS, but I guess it could happen because Crutek owns the IP anyway. Then I am guessing this isn’t one of those big AAA deals by Xbox Global Publishing.
Even though Ryse was mediocre in my opinion, there’s potential for something really good here.
Yeah I think you got it. MS wanted to buy the IP and Crytek said no. Rumor is now that it’s apparently being made and is multi-platform. I honestly don’t care if it’s exclusive to Xbox or not I just want it to release on Xbox.
Team size and resources in general are no longer an issue so I would guess that most of those are smaller projects that don’t need or benefit from bigger team sizes.
I’m guessing that one of them is Pillars 3.
Not sure how your post relates to mine as I didn’t mention exclusivity at all regarding Starfield, but I do agree the game absolutely needs to be exclusive
I replied to the tweet you posted.
If Starfield is in the bug fixing stage… I would buckle up for a 2021 release.
Can we trust Rand?
Definitely.
Would be amazing if we actually CAN welcome Starfield this year.
Halo Infinite, FH5(likely), Starfield, Wolfenstein 3,and that’s excluding some games like CrossfireX (I would hope it’s nearing completion by now), The Gunk, The Ascent, Psychonauts 2 etc.
If Starfield was targeting 2020 it almost had to be a cross gen game. Can’t imagine them releasing it to a launch sized user base, but who knows.
Maybe itll be a cyberpunk situation where its PC first and runs like ass on the old consoles.
yes.
Jez and Rand are usually pretty spot on.
Yes.
